Change of Mind Returns

Our products are all handmade with great care and passion and we want you to be happy with your purchase. We gladly offer an exchange or refund for Change of Mind on unused items within 7 days of delivery with the exception of Special Exceptions items.

If you have changed your mind, we may offer you a refund provided that the refund is made within 7 days of delivery. All returns must be unused and in their original condition. Customers are responsible for arranging the return and all related costs.

Consumer Guarantees

Under the Australian Consumer Law, we offer an exchange or refund on items found to be faulty. An exchange or refund can only be issued after the item has been returned to us and has been checked to be in the same condition as shipped by us.

Due to the products being handcrafted, they will have handmade characteristics, slight imperfections and variations in size can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product. This part of the handmade process is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a fault. They will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use as intended.

Please note that the colour of our product is reproduced as accurately as possible. However, all computer screens display colour differently, so the colour may vary slightly from the images presented on our website. This will not be deemed a reason for a refund.

Please note that faulty items must be returned within 7 days of delivery. You may be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the items was not due to misuse or poor handling. Consumer Guarantees do not apply where the items became unacceptable due to fair wear and tear, misuse or failure to take due and reasonable care. 

Any expense incurred for returning the original items to Yellow Robin Store will only be at our cost where it is deemed that the items have breached a consumer guarantee. Upon examination of the items returned, if they are not found to be in breach of the consumer guarantees, you may be charged a fee for the return cost, examination of the items, and any costs incurred in returning the items to you. 

If the item/s do not meet your expectations but do deliver product descriptive features and benefits, this will not be deemed a reason for a refund

Return of Items

If you wish to return an item please notify us at sale@yellowrobin.com.au as soon as possible, advising of the following:

1         Order number

2         Reasons for returning

3         Photos of damages and faults (if applicable)

Returns must be made within 7 days of delivery. Items must be returned in ‘as new condition’, with all parts, and accessories to ensure full credit. Customers are to incur the cost of returning the products to the address supplied in Melbourne, Australia.
